A lot of shifty things happen in the cover of darkness as was demonstrated last night when Obamalosicare barely passed even in the face of strong opposition from the American public.

I won’t dwell on the lone RINO who crossed over to the other side to vote in favor of government takeover.  He was bought and paid for as were many others in this tragedy.  Malkin has a great write-up on RINO Rep. Joseph Cao HERE.

What is truly disheartening is that most Americans have no idea what our government is even doing.  While anybody reading this post was probably glued to CSPAN for most of the day yesterday many probably think that Stupak is a destination, Blue-Dogs are a high school football team and that Pelosi has a soul.

Now we get ready for the Senate and I have no doubt they will push it through with the 51 votes.  People, we have the government we vote for.  And while you and I are at an advantage by even knowing the government is stealing our freedom the fact remains that our neighbors are doing nothing about it.

Get out the word, make the phone calls, attend the tea parties and let your voice be heard.  Government only has as much power as the people are allowing them to have.

Until Americans take the power back all I can ask is:  Who is John Galt?

There has been a lot of talk about the insensitivity that President Obama showed after the Fort Hood as discussed HERE.

Perhaps the reason for this is because Barack HUSSEIN Obama is a Muslim himself.  Why would you show American military men and women respect when you do not respect them to begin with?

I would like to take this opportunity to give a sarcastic thank you to everybody who fell for Obama’s rhetoric in 2008.  Who would have thought that after 9/11 half this country would support the enemy because he speaks well.

Beware of the beast with the golden tongue.

After 9/11 there were many people across this great country who woke up to the threat that Islamic extremism truly is.  Unfortunately there were too many who just fell back asleep.

For many years those of us on the right have been warning about the continued infiltration of terrorists into American life.  One of the ways in which they have done this is to put people inside the US Military. 

Today Major Malik Nadal Hasan, a life-long Muslim killed and injured countless soldier at the Fort Hood military base in Texas.  There have been some reports also of his connections to known terrorists. 

Something tells me that President Barack HUSSEIN Obama won’t do much except pay lip service to this tragedy while Al-Qaeda continues to wage war against a country that fights with apologies.

After battling with a possible case of H1N1, catching up on Masters work and teaching full time I haven’t had the time to put into Broadside recently that I would like.  Have no fear though, it will be back to full force soon.

This week our dear leader declared a national state of emergency in lieu of the H1N1 outbreak. 

One can only imagine some of the new “powers” that will be granted to health secretary Kathleen “swollen eye” Sebelius.

Apparently leaving the boarders open, hoping it will go away and washing hands of all responsibilty were not working. 

And let’s not forget that while the White House is telling everyone the importance of vaccination it looks like the One’s daughters do not need it.  Hypocrisy you can believe in!

I think everyone is looking at Obama losing the Olympics as a bad thing but upon further reflection I believe Obama tanked the event in order to once and for all prove to Americans that he is a not a socialist dictator.

Now that my sarcasm is off and it comes as no surprise that once again it’s not Obama’s fault.  Clearly it’s those racist, bigoted jerks who voted out of spite against Chicago and more importantly the Obamessiah.  Nothing is ever his fault, it’s everyone elses.  I have a few Kindergarten students who feel this way as well but they don’t have an entire media propaganda arm behind them to spin the story in their favor.  Thank you New York Slimes!

Well, it looks like Americans aren’t the only ones wising up to the Chicago style shenanigans of Obama and his cronies.  Everybody sing together: NO, YOU CAN’T!

Drudge put up the best headline today when Chicago was not only beat but raped in the first round.  Now I don’t mean “rape-rape” but rather Roman Polanski on drugged up 13 year old girl screaming no.

How I would have loved to see the faces on everyone from the Obama’s to Oprah.  This is further evidence that everybody who says no to Obama is a racist. 

Listen to CNN anchor Tony Harris react to the news that Chicago has been eliminated.  How in the world can anybody reject his lord and savior Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm –  Barack Hussein Obama.

Sometimes I find it best to not alter a picture but just state the facts.  In this case the fact is that ROMAN POLANSKI RAPED A CHILD!

There is a petition going around signed by 100+ filmmakers, actors and industry types protesting the arrest of Roman Polanski.  The same Roman Polanski that RAPED A CHILD!

We aren’t just talking no name celebs, we are talking John Landis, Martin Scorcese, Terry Gilliam, Darren Aronosfky and get ready to chuckle……. Woody Allen.  Yes, each of these “people” signed a petition to free Romand Polanski.  The same Romand Polanski that RAPED A CHILD!

I have to give credit to Jewel who posted on Twitter: “Polanski-admitted raping a 13 yr old-whys every1 in the arts upset hes facing jail? cause hes a gifted director? what am i missing?”

Why indeed!  As if we needed further evidence to show the morally bankrupt culture of modern day Hollywood they gives us even more. 

The moral of the story is that child rape is ok as long as you do “good works”.  Hmmm, sounds like ACORN.  Now I get it.  Ewwww.

And before I leave you and in case you forgot…. ROMAN POLANSKI RAPED A CHILD!

More good news for Socialism! 

Unemployment amongst 16 to 24 year olds has just hit a record of 52.2%! 

New York City is at a 16 year high of 10.3%!

California and Nevada are at record levels of 12.2% and 13.2% respectively!

Michigan continues to lead with 15.2% unemployment and nearing goverment shutdown!  Although it must be said, goverment being open isn’t helping either.

Isn’t it interesting the states that are predominantly run by Democrats (or RINOs) have the highest rates of unemployment in the country?  If Democrats are in charge it’s going to fail and it will fail big.

I also find it ironic that the same youth demographic that rallied behind Obama are now finding it nearly impossible to find a job.  Let this be a lesson children, next time you vote look at the substance, not the slogans.

Some food for thought however.  It is very likely that Obama is pleased with these record numbers among the youth.  How else is he going to fill his brown shirts youth core?

Shaking my head in disbelief is becoming a regular occurence.  Honestly, somebody tell me, how do some people live with themselves? 

Just when I think I have seen and heard it all I am proven wrong time and time again.  ACORN has decided to sue James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles along with Breitbart for millions citing  “extreme emotional distress“ on the parts of Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams.

You remember Tonya and Shera, they were the ones encouraging a pimp and prostitute how to break quite a few federal laws and turn a blind eye to underage prostitution. 

So let me try to understand this.  If you investigate a corrupt organization promoting illegal activity you will get sued for causing the distress? 

Stop the nonsense America.  This corruption is infesting every avenue of government.  The crazies have taken over and we are living in a time where people who support underage prostitution are the “victims”.
